General availability: Azure File Storage

Azure File Storage is based on industry-standard SMB 3.0\. It is a highly available and geo-replicated managed file share offering on Azure at low cost. Customers can now lift and shift existing file shares and corresponding applications to Azure with zero code change, and they can lower overall file-sharing costs compared to running them on-premises.Customers can also use Azure File Storage to share server data (such as log files and event data) that can be accessed from on-premises and the cloud. Developers can use RESTful APIs inside their modern applications to access file data and the management layer. For more information, please visit the [How to use Azure File Storage with Windows](https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/storage-dotnet-how-to-use-files/) documentation page and the [File Storage](https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/services/storage/files/) page.
