On May 10, 2016, Azure became generally available from datacenters in Toronto and Quebec City. Azure customers in Canada can now benefit from enterprise-grade reliability and performance combined with in-country data residency. This includes data replication in two locations within Canada for business continuity and the option of a private connection to the cloud with Azure ExpressRoute.
