Automation and configuration for virtual machines

Azure Automation includes three new enterprise-grade capabilities for managing virtual machines – update management, inventory and change tracking. You can now access these new capabilities directly from the **Virtual Machine Resources** menu in the Azure portal. In addition, a new dashboard provides a unified view across your entire environment to ensure resources are correctly configured, updated and managed.
