At Microsoft, we’ve recognised that while using Azure Logic Apps to build enterprise integration solutions to connect various systems and services together, developers often want to write some code to process the data and make it ready to be consumed by downstream systems. Committed to meet customers where they are, the new Inline code feature enables developers to write and execute simple ECMAScript (also known as JavaScript) from within Logic Apps. Benefits of inline code: * Write and execute code without having to provision additional resources * Easily reference trigger, action and workflow output via workflowContext object * Enables new scenarios such as regular expression parsing, complex array and object manipulation, and arithmetic operations * Data returned in code made available to subsequent actions via dynamic content token ![](https://azurecomcdn.azureedge.net/mediahandler/acomblog/updates/UpdatesV2/blog/10c70ad9-f207-4021-aaff-58de3315782d.png) [Learn more ](https://aka.ms/inlinecode) * Logic Apps * Features * Services * [ Logic Apps](https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/products/logic-apps/)
