The new Mapping Data Flows feature in Azure Data Factory allows Data Engineers to visually design, debug, manage and operationalise data transformations at scale in the cloud. With the addition of Mapping Data Flows, ADF becomes the Data Engineer’s one-stop service for scale-out ETL in the cloud.
With Mapping Data Flows, you can now add visually designed data transformations to your data factory pipelines without any coding. Quickly design, build and manage data flows that execute at scale with the performance you need to transform big data workloads. Built-in transformations include derived columns, aggregations, window functions, join, sort, pivot, lookup, filter, among many others.
