Generally available: AKS cluster auto-scaler

With AKS, customers can simplify deployment and operations of Kubernetes. Today, we are announcing general availability of AKS cluster auto-scaler, enabling customers to scale more efficiently and run their applications without downtime. Cluster auto-scaling allows customers to automatically scale a Kubernetes cluster to meet demand. Based on the [Kubernetes cluster auto-scaler](https://github.com/kubernetes/autoscaler/tree/master/cluster-autoscaler), AKS auto-scaling automatically adds new instances to the Azure virtual machine scale set when more capacity is required and removes them when they are no longer needed. When combined with the horizontal pod auto-scaler, customers can precisely tune the scaling behaviour of their environment to match their workload demand.
