Services
The App Center Auth and Data Preview services are part of our App Center Mobile Backend as a Service (MBaaS) offering. To meet our customers feature needs, along with our future business opportunities, we have decided to retire the App Center Auth and Data Preview services. As we’ve received feedback and our learning matured, we realised that the better long-term path is for developers to use the native Azure services, namely: Azure Active Directory B2C, Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Notification Hubs. The App Center Auth and Data Preview services will be retired on ****3** ****May 2020**.
**How does this affect me?**
The App Center Auth and Data Preview services are no longer available in the App Center portal for apps that do not currently utilise them. The Auth and Data SDKs are also no longer available in the publish SDK repository. The Auth and Data service REST APIs will continue to work.
On **3 May 2020**, the Auth and Data REST APIs will be retired; they will no longer be available for use by application backends.
**What actions should I take?**
<p">Sign in to the [App Center portal](https://appcenter.ms/) and begin the migration experience for your app. Our migration experience will help you move to these recommended Azure services:
* If you are currently using App Center Auth, migrate to [Azure Active Directory B2C](https://azure.microsoft.com/services/active-directory-b2c/).
* If you are currently using App Center Data, migrate to [Azure Cosmos DB](https://azure.microsoft.com/services/cosmos-db/).
