We recommend you migrate your data lake to [Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2](https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/blobs/data-lake-storage-introduction) and take advantage of the capabilities dedicated to big data analytics, built on [Azure Blob Storage](https://review.docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/blobs/storage-blobs-introduction). To lower the barrier for this migration, we are now offering a simple and intuitive user experience in the Azure portal. You can provide your consent in the Azure portal and migrate your data from Azure Data Lake Storage Gen1 to Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2\.
