Azure Cosmos DB for PostgreSQL is a fully managed Distributed SQL service that allows you to build modern cloud native applications at any scale. The service is built on open-source PostgreSQL at the core and the Citus extension to horizontally scale workloads. This complements the existing NoSQL APIs in Azure Cosmos DB to provide a common data foundation for a variety of applications including multi-tenant SaaS, IoT, and OLTP apps.
