Public preview: Azure Cold Storage

Azure Blob Storage is optimized for storing massive amounts of unstructured data. With blob access tiers, you can store your blob data in the most cost-effective manner based on how frequently it will be accessed and how long it will be retained. Now Azure Blob Storage adds a new online access tier, cold, in addition to hot, cool and archive. Cold tier pricing is positioned between cool and archive, with 90-day early deletion policy. You can seamlessly use the cold tier the way you use hot and cool, through REST API, SDK, tools, and lifecycle management policy.
