**Azure Maps Render V1 APIs will be retired on 17 September 2026,** will be retiring, please transition to Azure Maps Render V2 APIs by that date.
Azure Maps team is retiring Azure Maps Render V1 APIs services. In lieu, Azure Maps has deployed Azure Maps Render V2 APIs. The Azure Maps Render V2 APIs offers enhanced data quality and performance. To learn more about Render V2 APIs please review the following [documentation](https://aka.ms/AzureMapsRenderV1Retirement).
From now to 17 September 2026, you can continue to use Azure Maps Render V1 APIs without disruption. On 17 September 2026—workloads running Azure Maps Render V1 APIs will be deleted and associated application data will be lost.
**Required action**
To avoid service disruptions, please [upgrade](https://aka.ms/AzureMapsRenderV1Retirement) to Azure Maps Render V2 APIs by 17 September 2026\.
