Azure Functions now includes managed connectors - the same 1,400+ connector ecosystem behind Logic Apps and Power Platform - as first-class triggers and operations. This enables customers to build integrated systems across the broader ecosystem such as Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, Salesforce, and other SaaS services, using familiar Functions workflows. With connectors natively available, developers can build event-driven integrations without custom polling logic or manual SDK integration, simplifying development and reducing integration friction. This feature eliminates the need to build custom integration logic, enabling direct connections to services like Microsoft 365, Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, Dynamics, and 1400+ other systems. You can now write event-driven Functions that respond to SaaS events or output to external systems using familiar Functions syntax, reducing integration complexity and time-to-market.
