## Feature Feature Backup and DR Service now supports customer-managed encryption keys (CMEK) for Cloud SQL enhanced backups. This allows you to protect your Cloud SQL backups using the same KMS key as the source instance, with decoupled IAM permissions anchored to the Backup and DR Service service agent.
