Public Preview: Azure Logic Apps now enables developers to invoke Microsoft Foundry Agents directly from workflows.

Now, with improved integration between Azure AI Foundry and Azure Logic Apps, developers can now more easily operationalize Foundry AI agents within enterprise workflows. Azure AI Foundry provides the platform where agents are built, grounded, evaluated, and hosted using enterprise data, models, and tools. Azure Logic Apps provides the orchestration layer where workflows, APIs, schedules, and business events trigger and coordinate enterprise processes. Together, this enables developers to: * Invoke Foundry Hosted Agents directly from Logic Apps workflows * Orchestrate agents alongside APIs, connectors, and enterprise systems * Trigger AI-driven workflows from business events or schedules * Run production-grade agentic business processes with built-in observability and scale This integration helps organizations operationalize AI agents within real-world business automation workflows.
