To help avoid disruption, we recommend that you begin assessing your current usage and planning your transition now. Review the environments, templates, and workflows in your organization that depend on Azure Deployment Environments and identify the replacement approach that best supports your requirements.
**What this means for you**
* You should review all current Azure Deployment Environments usage across subscriptions, projects, templates, and deployment workflows.
* You should identify an alternative approach for environment provisioning and developer self-service before the retirement date.
* You should begin validating your migration plan as early as possible to minimize operational and development impact.
**Recommended action**
* Inventory your current environments, templates, catalogs, and provisioning workflows.
* Determine the target platform or service that will replace Azure Deployment Environments for your organization.
* Test your migration path, including governance, access control, infrastructure-as-code compatibility, and developer workflow readiness.
* Communicate internal timelines to platform engineering teams, developers, and administrators.
